What is it?
The BPS Certificate of Competence: Test User: Occupational, Personality Course (formerly known as Level B) is a blended learning course consisting of 6-9 hours of private study and a 2 day intensive face-to-face course. This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the European Federation of Psychological Associations (EFPA) and it qualifies participants to administer, interpret, and provide instant reports from the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI). The HPI measures the bright side of personality – the side we are likely to manifest in everyday work and social situations – and is used worldwide as an invaluable tool in optimising selection , training, development, leadership, career coaching and self-actualisation decisions.

Who is the Workshop Presenter?
This workshop will be presented by Pat Shortt. Pat has been providing training in the use of psychological tests to the standards set by the British Psychological Society for over 30 years. Pat is passionate about psychometric testing and he has helped numerous companies save hundreds of thousands of euros by enhancing their selection processes. Pat is a Chartered Psychologist; an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society: a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland: an Associate Member of the American Psychology Association and a long-standing member of CIPD: IGC: IITD and PSI. He has trained hundreds of Executives, Managers, Executive Coaches, Psychologists and Career Counsellors and Planners in the application of psychometrics to the highest international and professional standards.
