This is a social communication skills package designed for teachers and therapists working with children or adults with social communications difficulties and was initially piloted on adolescents with mild learning difficulties.  It has more than 120 photocopiable worksheets, divided into the following 6 levels: Level 1 - Talkabout Me & You - improves self and others’ awareness; covers physical appearance, personality, people, likes and dislikes, strengths, needs and problem solving.  Level 2 - Talkabout Communication - explores what is meant by communication and allows clients to assess their own communication skills.  Level 3 - Talkabout Body Language - covers the eight aspects of body language.  Level 4 - Talkabout the Way we Talk - aims to improve paralinguistic skills.  Level 5 – Talkabout Conversations takes the reader through the 8 aspects of conversational skills, including listening.  Level 6 - Talkabout Assertiveness enhances awareness and use of assertiveness skills.
