(RP)  Provides a training programme that addresses the prosocial skill needs of children, especially those who display aggression, immaturity or other problem behaviours.  The approach utilises teacher modelling, student role playing, group performance feedback and transfer training.  The curriculum is divided into 5 skill groups: Classroom Survival Skills; Friendship-making Skills; Dealing with Feelings; Alternatives to Aggression; Dealing with Stress.  The book provides strategies for teaching 60 specific prosocial skills and also shows how to organise and conduct a successful Skillstreaming group and provides valuable guidelines for resolving group problems.
