Occupational Therapy
Perceived Efficacy and Goal Setting System (PEGS)

Helps children age 6 to 9 years and their family identify priorities for intervention.

The child is shown a list of tasks on colourful pictures that reflect skills that would normally be acquired by a child of their age.  They must chooses whether they are likely to be able to perform these tasks and the cards that show the most challenging tasks for the child are used to help set an appropriate intervention programme.    The parents and teachers are also requested to complete a questionnaire regarding the tasks the child is likely to be able to perform and also outline their priorities.
